- Try disabling V.42bis first (at&k3). If that doesn't work, try disabling
- both V.42 and V.42bis (at&k1). If that works, the problem is that the
- remote modems have difficulty with V.42/V.42bis implementations. This is
- not unusual with some Rockwell chipset modems.
